I am getting a Sears 6hp 30 gallon upright air compressor. Its also coming w/an air ratchet and impact wrench.
I just wanted to know what are some good accessories to get with an air compressor?

I got the same one several weeks ago. I`ve got the tire fill attachment and the air "blowgun" (not sure what you call it).
It`s great for blowing the water out of all the nooks and crannies
on my new Porsche after a wash. I`m looking at the one that Griot`s garage carries to make it a little easier to hold and use.

The comppressor from Sears cost me about $324 w/the tax. I will be picking it up instore hopefully soon.
As for the accesories i.e. air gun, tire inflator etc will run about $20-25 total.
I would recommend some type of water seperator if you plan on using air tools or paint guns with it.

Air tools are cool.
Ejant, what is the purpose of a Moisture trap and Incadessant filter? How do you set them up?
When air is compressed, water is produced. I used to work at a shop with no water traps in the air system, and it would look like a pressure washer for about five minutes every morning when we hooked up air blowers to the lines.Originally posted by bgruver

Quick tip: Slip a piece of rubber tubing over the end of the blow gun to prevent accidental scratching.Originally posted by bjones211
