Re: What about switching to these wheels?

It`s an awesome looking car with all those wheel choices! I just picked up some black wheels for a total change from the black on chrome. Keeping the stockers so I can switch back if I get sick of them.

I like the spoke design that you have. If you ever feel the need for new wheels just have your wheels refinished in a new color.
Have you looked into doing the brass/copper "Brass Monkey" Hellcat finish on your wheels? That would give your car a totally new look.

Those Vossen forged wheels look awesome. I would rather have your current spoke design than the Vossen. I do like the finish on those Vossens better than black. I`m with Guz, I like the gunmetal, dark gray, silver painted finish.

I saw a flat black fuel door. That would look awesome. Is your chrome cap stock?

Your car is unique. It`s like a factory restomod. Any other car and the chrome would look dated, but not on your Challenger. Just don`t add a vinyl top or a Superbird Daytona wing

yes I was going to go with brass monkey type look-- BUT there is another guy with a Black RT challenger in my town (he`s kind of a strange-never wants to chat cars or even hang with other car folks yet I see his car at local shows from time to time- guess he`s a lone wolf)-- anyways.. he recently put brass colored wheels on his black Challenger, and I don`t want to have two cars looking alike (he lives in the same neighborhood as me too- and he drives like a 17yr old)

    no vinyl ever for me

I was thinking about satin black fuel door (99) as opposed to the gloss black one (299)

Nah, I`d keep it..connects the car to how they looked back in the day. Might just be another older guy thing...

    Oh gee, that bodes well

Though he sounds like the demographic targeted by some Dodge commercials, guess he thinks that`s Real Life.

I mean he drives like a TOTAL Jack A-

first of all- his car is SLOW (its a stock rt- like 2009 or so)
secondly- he has to redline it to break it loose- lol I`ve seen it and EVERY RT challenger makes that gawd afrul noise at redline when it shifts-- that must be a crappy feeling, mine breaks loose above 2500 in 1st and 2nd gear
and finally- his car is actually kind of nice looking- but he is obviously not interested in being social inside the car culture because I card him Every time I see the car, ACLX and my business

I can`t see showing up at a cruise and being part of the "car culture" and not being social and want to talk cars etc. Strange bird.

and that car actually has some pretty tasteful mods on it-- nice front splitter, nice wheels, lowered.

maybe he just doesn`t like me? haha
