Well, we have a garage (sort of).
Nice flat long driveway for detailing.

Wow! This has been a fun read. Keep up with the updates!
Looks like you will have a nice area to detail in.
Looking good, few windows in that bump out will cost you some wall space but the natural light is a blessing when you are stuck inside with doors closed helps keep depression away.
House is coming along quite nicely. Will snap some pics soon. They started hanging the siding and the mason is working on the brick in the front.
But, I`m checking in because I met with he builder to discuss the electrical setup... First off, it was suggested here prior, and I never really thought about it, but I am getting the garage insulated. Should be able to store detailing chemicals in there without worrying about freezing. Cost isn`t too bad ~ $700 for all walls and ceiling.
Second, I think builder dude thought I was crazy with regards to lights. Garage is like 2.5 cars size and I`ll have 28 total T8 bulbs, he told me I could get by with 4. I`m thinking 28 will be enough? I`m getting two basic light switches - one for every day use (4 bulbs) and one for car use (all bulbs)
Also got a slew of outlets all around the the garage.
better to many lights then not enough. i have 8 4` T8 bulbs and it sucks.need to double 12 per bay is probably about right.
Don`t forget the 20A 240V Outlet for an Air Compressor.
lookin good, definitely throw a 240 and a 20amp outlet in there so you can run anything you want no matter how much power.
Looks great! I love the exposed brick.
Swanicyouth- Hey, that`s really coming along!
looking good, Oh brick spray on some sealer to keep them healthy and you never have to worry about paint or root. I love wood but its a pain to care for.
Excellent process so far! I`m super jelly of that garage!
