I`ve been looking for a pre-filter for a while for my Shop Vac.` As the washable Gore-tex filter ages, it seems like it`s plugging up more frequently.` I`ve washed it a fair number of times` - - perhaps that`s partially responsible for its diminished performance.`

    `

I stumbled upon these pre-filters.` It seems their primary market is motorcycles, powersports,`etc.` The vacuum cleaner pre-filters appear to be an expansion of the product line.` Simple idea, I hope it works.

It was $17 directly from their website.

    Re: Shop Vac pre-filter: Outerwears

    Good find, and great idea.

I`ve just been using the filter bags for the past years, so much less dust and easy clean up.

    Cheers,

Greg, that outer bootie is working so well I`ve completely forgotten about it. I guess that`s a good thing.

I`ll have to open it up and have a peek to see what`s doin`...
