While I guess this post is equally as bad, due to the absence of photos, as not having any more threads on here about our garage setup- I`m planning to have a new "Man Cave" (i.e. 2-3 bay garage built) and am looking for options for flooring, paint, lighting setup, work bench, hose and compressor routing setup (and extension cords for that matter)... I would love to see some of your shops, garages, bays, "office", place of peace and relaxation... show me what you got!!!

I wish you luck with your search and hope you share some pics of the entire progress of your build.

Gotta have coated floors, white walls/ceilings and lots of bright light.

Hate to send traffic off the forum, but to be quite honest garagejournal is by far the best thing going when it comes to garage/shop build resources.... probably worthwhile to post both here and there to get advice and info.

Agree, Garage Journal is where its at. Awesome forum for any car and garage lover. Some great home repair advice as well. I started over there when I did my floor earlier this year and have been wasting lots of time there ever since.

I appreciate the advise. I appreciate a any good help- you would think there would be more quality forums like this one but there aren`t as many as you think. I`ll definitely check out garagejournal. Thanks!

Awesome, I`ll make it a point to peruse the forum thoroughly. I`m a garage junkie- that`s why I was so let down not see a lot here. Clublexus used to have a great garage section, but I couldn`t find it there anymore, so my guess is, like many others, it didn`t get the deserved attention.

Thanks Dave- I have been debating on colors for epoxy coated floors, with or without flake, and definitely want to blend sand into the mix to prevent slip. I definitely will be painting as bright white as possible and adding light wherever possible. Hate that my current garage is barely deep enough to pull full size vehicles in hardly have room for additional room. Double garage with 0 space for cars???

Is anyone washing inside and using special coated drywall that does not saturate with water?
