I am currently undergoing PT and a vigorous excercise regemin to help with a severe back problem I have. Bulging discs caused by disc degeneration. It`s a long road and very frustrating but stick to what the doctors say and don`t come back too soon! Two weeks is not enough time. Go slow and steady and your recovery will be better sustained. Good luck!
