    Guys,

I`m not as fortunate as many who have garages where they can detail peacefully.

I have these nasty nosy neighbors who are always bugging me when i detail in the street. :grrr

I`m wondering if there is a company or something where I can rent a garage for a day and just spend time detailing.

    Any thoughts guys?

I don`t know what`s in Chicago, but there are businesses that rent space by the hour for car work. Some even have tools available to rent as well.

Another option would be to look at the storage unit rental places. If they have some un-rented units, they may be willing to rent one to you for the day for some quick cash.

If you live in a house and have a driveway, you could get one of those temporary garages (metal frame, "tarp" plastic walls).

    well good suggestions,

Yes, I don`t have a driveway. I just park on the street. My back yard is just a garden unfortunately.

I asked my dad to buy a garage but he gave me the "Get Real` Look. So...that`s not happening anytime soon at least.

Does what I`m thinking of even exist; I`m not really sure.

Well I`d need a space of at least 20X20 to work with the polisher snd stuff.

Does anyone nearby or a friend have a usable garage? May you could trade some detailing on their cars for use of their garage.

Rent time from a detail shop or a mechanics shop. I know there are places dedicated for this exact thing where its just a bunch of stalls for people to rent out and fix their cars or what not just not sure about your area...friends or family garage or shop...big pop up tent like you see at outdoor events just not that big lol. How bout a big covered parking lot like at malls or what not...

Find a friend and tell them youll detail their car free if they let you use the garage to detail your own car after youre done with their car.
