Detailing Posters or Banners

I am a member at Meguiar`s, but I just like hanging around autopians.

I have a Maroon vinyl Meguiar`s one that is 2 ft by 4 ft and says `The Experts in Surface Care". Got it on eBay for $15.

`Man, things must have changed a lot. I used to tell the reps and salesmen (inside and out) \"we like your product.... if you want us to use it then help us advertise it\". We had banners and promo items out the guzoo. 3M, Megs, Wax Shop, Makita etc. and that was all free! We even had co-op on advertising form at least 50% of the mfg\`s. I can\`t understand not being able to \"buy\" a banner? Specially for a ligit shop.\r\n\r\n_________\r\nJames`

I have e-mailed Zaino, Adam`s, and a couple others with no responses in over a month.. Kinda sucks, I have been a user of Zaino for more than two years and can`t even get a price to just buy one out right.. it`s not like I am asking for hand outs here :/

I emailed Meguiars and mothers too and told them about my small detailing business on the weekends and would like to know how to get some stuff so my customers know what I use, Meguiars sent me a few cheap small stickers and a catalog, mothers on the other hand was very generous and sent me a huge banner and decals. I will try a few other companies too. I dont get why they send stuff to companies that just throw it out, but people that actually will hang the stuff up is free advertising for them.

I talked to Sal on the phone a couple weeks ago and mentioned getting a banner. He didnt have any to sell so I asked if he minded me having one made up. He said go right ahead, he just doesnt want his logo misrepresenting his company or affiliating it with anything he wouldnt approve of.

Sorry about you not getting a reply email from him. I seriously doubt you`re not being replied to on purpose. Sal and the Zaino gang are pretty good folks. Try contacting them again

Don`t any of you guys work or have friends that work in an office? We`ve got huge poster printers over here, I think we can even print on plastic banner material. Regardless - my point is it`s easy to make your own. I would think it`s particularly justified for brands such as Menzerna, Metabo, Klasse, 1Z Einszett...etc

Hmm.. My dad has a HP Designjet 500







And i wouldn`t mind printing up some banners (on the special poster paper, not canvas) for people of they sent me the images. Or I can create them and sell them if people wanted.
