What`s a good lighting brand for fluorescents?

Looking for some basic easy to find recommendations...



Anyone have some insight on electronic vs. magnetic ballast? T8 vs. T12?

You`ll want to go with T8 electronic as T12 magnetic are being phased out by energy saving regs. There used to be a huge price spread, but not so anymore.



If you stay with a name-brand fixture, it will usually have one of 2 or 3 major ballast brands in it. Problem is that unless you`re in the electrical business, you likely won`t recognize a "name-brand" fixture, but I can help you out there--PM me if you want and we can discuss it further.
