Good Luck. Would that material mar pillars?
Good Luck. Would that material mar pillars?
I like the concept and what you have done !
It is obvious that it rejects the sunlight - but how much does the inside temperature go down with this on vs nothing on ? I know it would have to be lower for sure, but is it a little lower or a lot lower?
In California where I used to live and now where I live again, I can remember in summer, it could get hot enough inside a car that you could not touch the steering wheel for awhile..
Thank you for all the hard work you did to make your dream a reality !!!

The more I thought of this today the more I liked it. Current sun shields only block the windshield. With how hot it is here in Florida, I wouldn`t mind spending a couple minutes blocking the sun from all the other windows on my car. Especially if my car is sitting in the parking lot at the beach or mall. Getting back into the car can be miserable.
It`s an interesting concept. I`m sure you`ve looked into it but I`d be surprised if it hadn`t been patented already. I don`t know how many people can actually see themselves spending the time to put it on and take it off.
A society willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserves neither and will lose both

It isn`t patented yet, i`m the first one. I will do an inside temperature recording with a " classic " sun visor and with StopSunShine.
And what did you think of the name and logo of my invention, is it good or not ?
I think i will make it with aluminium coated glass fiber fabric.
No problem i made lead ballast on the front and rear cover, you can see it in the movie. It`s swinging when i wear the right door of the car...
Not sure they will allow it in Cali with lead in it. Could use some type magnets sewn into the fabric that would hold the bottom in place so it cant blow around and leave any scuff marks on the paint. Also for the inside temp may want to add an unprotected car especially if it is very close to the front windshield only car to show how little protection the front one provides.
Trashmanssd, i think for that too, little thin flexible magnets, why not ? It will be easier to wear for front and rear covers.
I can see this being useful in hot, dry climates that do not allow window tint. I live in Florida, were tinting is allowed, and is a wetter climate. I would have the same problem as a car cover, what do I do with it in the rain or after a rain?
There will be no problem if it`s made with glass fiber. It will come with his own bag.
In some climates I can see where this would well be worth the "trouble" to attach it. Good luck with your venture. Where I live it would serve no purpose.
Thanks to all, i will start little production, i will produce myself in first step, if all goes good, i will make mass-production. My crowd funding campaign is not very good....
