The Gloss Boss Presents: 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL600 1-step paint correction

This beauty came in for a 1-step paint correction and interior service. Interior was super clean and just needed a dusting and vacuum, but "steam-scrubbed" the carpets for good measure anyway. In my rush to get photos of the vehicle I forgot to take pictures of the interior. I almost always do.

    On the wheels:
    Griot`s wheel cleaner (non-acid)
    Round brush
    Boar`s hair wheel brush
    EZ-detail brush (large)

    Tires:
    Black Magic Bleach-White
Tuff Shine brush (love this thing)
Tuff Shine Tire Coating (2 coats)
I had to clean each tire like 5 times because the local car wash and hack shop that has maintained this vehicle layered on that good greasy tire dressing.

    Wells/Arches:
    Purple Power Degreaser
    EZ-detail brush

    Wash and Prep:
    CG Citrus Wash and Gloss
    Sheepskin mitt
Round brush for the nooks and crannies
Optimum Eraser (light on most of vehicle, had to break out the heavy for some lower areas)

    Polishing Process:
    GG6 and GG3 polisher
Meg`s MF cutting pad on the 6 and a LC Orange cutting pad on the 3
    HD Adapt with the GG3
    Menzerna 2500 on the GG6
    IPA wipedown
    Sealed with Blacklight

Well I can`t upload pics. Security token issue? Help?

Are you uploading pics from your desktop? The only time I`ve ever seen a security token issue was when trying to take pics directly from a web page.
A society willing to trade liberty for temporary security deserves neither and will lose both

Pics from my phone to the desktop. Then desktop to on here. Another forum member said I should try photobucket. Never had an issue till now doing it the way in which I just described.

Alright, here we go with the pics.

Here are a few of when it first came in...

This is what the majority of the finish looked like...

    50/50

    Tools of the trade...

50/50. Just now realized my sign is in the background lol. Now you know it`s me.

    More 50/50

On the door. Sorry it`s sideways

Finished polishing. Tape is from masking clear film on leading edge of hood.

Here are some finished shots. Unfortunately the sun was nearly gone by the time I was done at 7pm. Had nearly 12 hours in the vehicle. As usual I forgot to photograph the interior.

What are some of the more prominent Mercedes forums? benzworld? mbworld? I know a lot of you guys branch out and market yourselves to these guys. I thought that would be a good idea for me as well.
