Thumbs up 2012 Ford F-150 STX (Premium Exterior Detail)

The owner of this vehicle contacted regarding freshening up the exterior due to issues with tar and iron deposits on the paint that he thought was rust spots. The paint is in pretty good shape as the truck has just over 20k miles on it due to limited use as a second vehicle.

PICTURES OF THE TRUCK AS IT ARRIVED

Notice the iron deposits (brown spots). These were located heavily on the tail gate, however they were also located on the rest of the vehicle.

There were also many tar marks on the vehicle, however this was the worst of them.

    WASHING PROCESS
Foam Pre-treatment: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss
Wheels: Sonax Full Effects w/ wheels whoolies & mothers brush
    Tires: Tuff-shine Tire Cleaner
Wheel wells: Megs APC+ scrubbed with mothers brush
Decon: IronX & Chemical Guys Bugger & Tar Remover
2 Bucket Wash: Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss w/ Sheepskin wash mitt

This is a picture of the IronX breaking down the iron deposits on the tailgate.

    After the Hydr02 was applied.

This was the first time I used Hydr02 for a sealant on an entire vehicle, and it certainly won`t be the last! I was amazed with how it actually turned out. With the white it is hard to tell, but this actually added a lot of gloss to the finish and is actually pretty slick. I originally planned on using this for just wheels, but I will start using it for a lot more after doing this truck with it.

Great product if you are not already using it!
