    2013 Tesla S Full Gtechniq C1 & EXO V2 Protection Detail

Here are some pics of the Tesla S Gtechniq detail I did a few days ago. I have more pics to upload but here are some for starters.

The pic of the Tesla was from the night before when I evaluated it at the clients home and it was pretty dirty. It has light swirls and some light buffer trails on the hood from the dealership attempting to detail it. I tried to take pics but the 50/50 correction shots was not showing up the way I wanted but the paint was easy to work with but it is soft and easy to mar up. I corrected the finish with Shine Supply Classic Cut with Buff and Shine MF pad with my Griots 6in. Final polished it with Shine Supply Polish with a Uber White pad on my Griots. Then the Gtechniq coats when on after that.

Nice car, can wait for the rest of the pics. Why the C1 under the EXO v2?

Think along the lines of applying a paint sealant and then a wax on top.

GTechniq C1 Crystal Lacquer is an extremely durable coating. It will also provide higher hydrophobic qualities to the finish versus an untreated surface, but if you are looking for that "water jumping off the paint" hydrophobic effect, EXOv2 Hybrid Coating is the way to go. The trade off is that the EXO is not as durable as the C1 Crystal Lacquer.

Also, when it comes to the final appearance, C1 will give you high clarity, but EXO will give you higher clarity.

It`s not 100% mandatory that you use both as a system. It`s just for people looking for the top level of long term protection as well as easiest to maintain, the combination of the two products achieves both results better than either product individually.
