2005 Honda Element Resurection..Washed with a Brick? Vision Detailing

I was contacted by this customer to do a Paint Correction and Winter Package Detail...Thought to myself, No big Deal...right? After setting up a evaluation and quote for the job, I was blown away at the condition of the vehicle, you name it and this had it...tons of scratches, Marring,Hazed, etching, chips in paint and bird etching. Story was her husband had the idea of using a scouring pad to wash the vehicle ( I had to hold back my thoughts) and simply replied, that`s a big No, No !! Wasn`t sure if she wanted to spend the $$ it would take to restore it the point that my name would be associated with the detail or not, but she had seen my work on Facebook and from other friends that I`ve detailed for. So, Here I go again taking on some really hardcore, roll your sleeves up, hard case Detail !!
Here are the pictures and process, 17 Hours on this Detail,

I`m not a big fan of the long drawn out reviews, so here is a quick and concentrated review

    2 BWS
    Megs APC+
    Megs D101
    Megs Wheel Brightener ( Barrels)
    Megs Hyper Wash (Final Wash)
    CG Citrus Wash Red
    Perl (Vinyl Covering Exterior)
    Opti-Bond Tires
    LC Purple Foam wool Pad
    LC Orange,White, Gray and Red
    Menzerna FG400, Power Finish, PO85rd
    Sprayway
Prima Nero (interior cockpit or dashboard)
    Blackfire Wet Diamond

Arrived: It was a very neglected Vehicle, faded Vinyl, Rims were shot (chrome peeling off etc..) and the PAINT....you will see

Loaded with swirls and scratches (scouring pad )

After experimenting which product and pad combination to go with..

Many, Many hours later......the outcome of one tough, tough Detail

That is mainly why I took on this Detail.....if the entire body was paint....the customer more than likely wouldn`t paid the $$

That is almost impressive to see how scratched up it was. Awesome turn around.

Shows even better in his 50/50 shot before polish and after, paint was life less
