    Chevrolet Traverse

Today I had a Chevrolet Traverse come to my place to get a silver package detail which is the wash, clay, 1 step polish, wax, engine bay, and interior. It was in pretty good shape overall. The interior was just dirty with no stains so that made it nice. The exterior was pretty smooth for the most part. It just needed some attention in a few spots. The paint responded very well to the Mezerna Power Finish 2500 on an orange pad and left the Diamond Tri-coat paint nearly perfect besides a few deep imperfections. I used all the same products I have listed in my other details if you were curious. Only thing that was added was Aquapel to the windshield which I threw in because the customer was nice enough to reschedule after I made a little mistake scheduling a detail on my anniversary lol. The weather sucked so the after pictures were pretty limited for location because of the on and off again rain. Enjoy

    Re: Chevrolet Traverse

    Very nice work!!

I just recently bought a 12 Traverse, same color. I havent had a few days to give it a proper cleaning but after going over it, I was left with a few questions. Maybe you can help me out.

1.The black door pillars seem to be actual paint i believe. They have some heavy swirling, so can i treat it just like the rest of the paint? Compound, polish and wax?

2.The fake chrome around the front grille is dull. Any suggestion on what to use to bring it back to life?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Re: Chevrolet Traverse

Yes you can treat the pillars like regular paint. I just use one of my paint polishes to clean up the chrome trim since it isn`t real chrome
