    4 hour challenge!

So on Saturday night after I got off work my Girl friend informed that it was her moms birthday on Sunday. Her moms lives almost 3 hours away and apparently we were driving out to see her. She asked me to load her portable massage table into the car(My GF is a message therapist) because as her gift to her mom she was gonna give her a massage. Having no clue it was her bday and no time to shop I was like "Well I could detail her car for her if you like?". She thought this was a great Ideal. So on our way outta town I stopped by the shop(2 minutes from my house) and grabbed a few things. My list consisted of BFWD, a clay towel, Rupes21, BF SRC Finishing polish, BF SRC compound, some towels, tire dressing, APC, gloves, ONR, and a few little brushes. Or so I thought. When we got to her moms house she told us we have to be at a family get together at 1230 sharp. So I walked out into the garage looked at the car and saw....

Thats the flash of my camera and the little light in the garage. I wondered what I had just got my self into. Knowing that there was a full day tomorrow of family stuff and a 3 hour drive home my only option was to get up 7am and try to get done by noon. Well I woke up at 750. This is when I went to the car and noticed I had left some things I though I had brought like ONR, gloves, apc, and wheel cleaner. HMMMMMMMM So I hosed the car down, and used a towel with dawn it because it I didn`t have a bucket or a wash mitt.(I`m not recommending any wash a car this way, but I really couldn`t of made this much worse and it had to be a better ideal than driving through a tunnel).

after washing and decon. At this point I had spent up a little over an hour of my 4 I had. So I jumped right into polishing

Test spot was white pad and SRC Finishing polish and it did amazing so I got busy!

I wasn`t going for perfect, just much better

Like this! As you can see big improvement considering how quick I was going. Oh in case you didn`t know I have a crack like addiction to BF SRC Finishing polish and doing things like this reminds me why. I finished polishing and BFWD`d it up

Done @ 12:03 showing the girls. She was in shock at the fact she could see her self in it. Whip lash had been handled with the bare minimum. I was soooo happy she keeps the inside clean so I didn`t have to do more than a wipe down.

Not perfect but considering time constraints I felt like

Thanks for looking at my 4 hour Bday challenge!

Nice job for the time you had. Im glad you posted this because Ive been wondering about the correction ability of that polish. Looks like it does a good job How does the Blackfire line of polishes act in direct sunlight?

    Joe,

I am developing a hatred for you.

You have a very healthy business.
You get to work on some really kool cars.
You have the latest toys so that you could buff out a car in 4 hours.

Now... you are telling us that your girlfriend is a massage therapist.

    WTF!!!! Its almost not fair.

Great work Joe. I love those PT Cruisers when they`re really cleaned up and this one looks new again. Chrysler should have kept that line and made them hybrids.

    Re: 4 hour challenge!

man if my gf was a massage therapist I would keep her busy after hours hehe

oh yeah and Jo, that`s incredible that you not only washed and deconed this car (normally takes me 4 hours on my own), you beat those paint swirls silly!

    Awesome job!

P.S. AND you took pictures, man way to put normal humans like myself to shame
