    Shelby GT500

This is a Shelby I did last week in preparation for winter storage. Overall the car was in very good condition with just a few rids and normal use swirls. The interior was also in pretty good shape.
    Products used
    Interior:
Auto Finesse Crystal glass cleaner (pricey but IMO the best there is)
    Chemical Guys WW Window Towel
    Lucas Interior Detailer
    Optimum Power Clean
    Poor Boys Work MF Towels
    Chemical Guys Leather Conditioner
    Migliore Brilliant Dressing
    Zep Carpet Cleaner
    Bissell LGM Pro Heat
    Various Brushes

    Exterior:
    Power Washer
    Foam Cannon
    Flex 3401
    GG 6

Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss & Dawn Mix
    Mothers® Wheel & Tire Cleaner
    Optimum Opti-Seal
303 High Tech Fabric Guard 303 High Tech Fabric Guard 3 High Tech Fabric Guard
    Ultima Elastrofoam Paint Cleaning System
Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus
    Sonus SFX -1 Restore Polish
    Sonus SFX -2 Enhance Polish
    SONUS SFX-3 Final Finish Polish
BLACKFIRE Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection
BLACKFIRE Midnight Sun Ivory Carnauba Paste
    Chemical Guys Hybrid V7
    Migliore Bella Lustra Tire Glaze
    Cobra WW Towels
Chemical Guys Big Monster 550 Towels
    Chemical Guys WW Window Towel
    Zep Citrus
    Sonus Motor Kote
    P21S Polishing Soap
    Detailer’s Pro Quick Wax
    Detailer’s Pro Trim Detailer
    Optimum MF Cutting Pad
    3M Tape
    3M Painters Window Plastic
Various Brushes and MF Wash Mitt
That’s a lot of stuff for a car that was in pretty good shape to start with. 

Exterior of car as it was delivered.

I started off with the wheels. How many brushes does it take to clean wheels??
    This many

    Re: Shelby GT500

On to the wash and decon. I’ve found that a MF towel instead of a brush works best for scrubbing cloth convertible tops.
Soaking with CGCW&G and Dawn mix in warm water applied with a foam cannon.

All washed and ready for decon.

During the decon I found a few chips in the paint and fixed those. Here’s the process I use. As I find them I circle them with a yellow marker to so they are easier to find and not get missed. The chips need to be thoroughly cleaned with wax & grease remover then the chip can be touched up. With the chips being so small once the paint is dry I use a pencil eraser as a sanding block. The sanding disc is 1500 grit 1 ½ in diameter and has adhesive backing.

Once I have the paint worked back down level I then blend it all in and take out the 1500 scratches with 3” 3000 grit pad.

    Looks good

All cleaned and protected with 303 Fabric Guard. To keep the top clean it was covered with 3M painter’s window plastic. The nice thing about this plastic is its pre taped on one side.

    Next was the motor.

Paint protected from over spray and ready for the motor coat.

    All taped up for polishing.

    Flex 3401
Sonus Restore and MF pad was used for removing the 3000 grit sanding scratches. Enhance was used with a green pad and the finish was used with a black pad.
    GG 6
LC black flat pad was used to apply the BFWD sealant. The MS was applied by hand.

The final wipe was with CG V7. All trim was dressed with either Details Pro Trim Detailer or Ultima Tire & Trim Guard Plus. The door jams were done with Details Pro spray wax.
Reverse taping to keep the trim dressing off of the paint.

With the exterior done on to the interior.

Great job there, love the old school of using a pencil tip with sand paper to fix those minor area`s! You put alot of work into this one! Bravo
