    2011 Dodge Ram

Just finished detailing my Ram. Started out around 9:30am and finished just before 2:00pm. So thought I would share. Let me know if you guys would change anything.

    Dawn double bucket wash
    Clay
    Dawn double bucket wash
Klasse AIO using a PC on 4 with white polish pad
    IPA 20/80 mix wipe down
Poorboys Blackhole using PC on 2 with black finishing pad
    Collinite 845 topper by hand
Finished with Chemical Guys Hybird V7

There were very, very, very, few swirls to start with so figured Klasse with polish pad would suffice. Couldn`t justify leveling what few swirls were there. Any swirls left behind the Blackhole took care of.

    Here are a few pics.

Trying to capture the metalic flake, this was the best I could get.

Nice job, truck looks great. I have your trucks twin actually but I have a different grille. Are those R/T wheels?

Thanks man. Been kinda quiet on the detailing front for the past few years, just getting back into it. Yes they are the 22" Dodge R/T wheels. Hard wheel to find, unless you want to pay $1400 per wheel at the dealer.

Do you have anything else done to the truck? Mine is still stock. This is the first time I haven`t made any modifications to one of my vehicles

I think you can skip the IPA. PB BH has its own cleaners and fillers.

Wheels - Thanks for the advice. I wasn`t sure if I needed IPA or not.

Rocket - The truck is leveled in the rear 2", Vararam intake, 6000 HIDs in heads and fogs, color matched antenna base, tail gate handle, as well as silver interior trim. Near future mods are the R/T 4.10 gears, 2800 stall torque converter.

I detailed the truck today because next Monday I have a photo shoot for 5 new tonneau covers, then early Sept. i have another shoot for a big brake kit.

You`ve got to post more pictures. How do you remove the antenna base? Mine is seriously ashy and I want to pull it and paint to match anyway

Thanks alot fellas. I always keep her clean, but nothing like a fresh detail.

Rocket, here are a few pics of the antenna base.
To remove, unscrew the antenna whip, place a folded up towel behind the base to protect the paint incase you slip. Take a small screw driver and place the tip in one of those cut outs on the chrome ring. Then slightly tap it around to loosen it. Then unscrew it the rest if the way. The plastic base will then come off. I sanded smooth, then used adhesion prometer for the primer, then spray 3-4 coats offactory color, then 3-4 clear.

    Antenna base.

    Tailgate handle.
