    Black Tahoe heavy scratch removal

    In this coner standing in at 155lbs soaking wet standing 6ft tall we have Joe from Orinda Auto Detail. And in that coner standing in at 4 tons and 8ft tall we have Black Chevy Tahoe with some very unhappy paint .

    LETS GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!!

    DING DING!

    Wash 50/50 dawn/pearl wash
    3m perfect it clay bar
    IPA
    Wash
    3M tape
    3M perfect it rubbing compound Dewalt, Heavy cut wool pad
    IPA
    Wash
    Tape agian
    Flex 3401 Uno and Uno orange pad
    IPA
    Flex Uno and green Uno pad
    IPA
    Flex RD85 red CCS pad
    HD poxy cured for 2 hours on paint before removing
    Pinnacle to top


    really?








    after rd85 before LSP

    OHHHHHH YOU GOT KNOCKED THE F*** OUT!!!

    That paint was trashed. Real nice job on it. I own a Tahoe and know all about how huge those things are. Good job

    Yeah, It took for ever to get the edges on the hood bumps right, completely weird the angles I was holding the buffer and flex to I ended up taping around because I thought I would burn it with pad edges lol.

    Looks great Joe. That was some really screwed up paint. You earned your dollar on that one. But enough with Uno already .

    that paint was trashed dude, you did a helluva job bringing it back to life. i would suggest that you also give the wheel wells some love too.

    Good job. I am not sure I would have accepted that job myself. That is among the worst black paint I have seen on any forum. I can only recall a hammered black Lexus that was as bad.

    Thank you and I actually did fix that before the car left I just was so happy with the way the paint came out I kinda forgot till last minute

    Thanks man I was questionable about it being able to be saved there were alot of places that I only got like 80% of scratches out and was to scared to keep trying but overall was about 90% perfect.

    He didn`t mind so much because I was very upfront that it wouldn`t be cheap.
