The Gloss Boss, LLC presents: Ford F-150 "Dry Clean" interior treatment.

Recently I teamed up with Nathan (mrclean81) on a detail, and he introduced me to the dry foam/jumbo vent brush cleaning method for interior detailing. I`ve been using it on all my details since, and feel it has brought my interior quality up. Dry foam has excelled for me as a pre-treatment on carpets and upholstery, and makes cleaning places like consoles and vents a lot easier IMO. Plus when used in conjunction with my Dupray steamer I am able to offer what I call a "dry clean" package. I`ve been driving home the benefits of this to new and potential customers who dislike the idea of having soggy interiors after a shampoo job at the local hack volume "detail" shop.

Here is a detail I did this weekend using the dry clean method.

    Tools/product list:

    Compressed air
    Shop vac
    Jumbo interior vent brush
    Blue Coral dry foam
    Dupray Carmen Super Inox
    303 Aerospace Protectant
    Various MF towels and applicators

This vehicle wasn`t a huge mess, but my efforts made a nice difference.

Thanks for looking. And if you aren`t incorporating this interior technique into your process I`d recommend giving it a shot!

The interior of that truck looks a million times better. Can you give us a brief rundown on how you are doing it?!

Im glad that method is working out for you. I`ve been using it for several years and have never had anything but great results from it, and Im glad to see others getting the same turn arounds from it. The truck looks great

I think he is using this and a steamer instead of an APC.

Nice job. Have you ever had an issue with colorfastness on seats or carpet using this method?

I`ve never had issues with anything I`ve used but there is always a first time so I always test in a hidden area

I`ve never ran into any issues at all, even when I scrub the daylights out of seats and carpet with a wool pad and a rotary. Im convinced its safe. If something does go wrong and some color comes out, there`s a really good chance that the carpet was dyed at some point and the owner didnt know it.

Great job on the interior. It looks brand new !!! Did you do all that with a steamer? I need to get some of that Blue Coral and give it a try. I know it has been out for years.

To be clear, your steaming with the APC or spraying than steaming?!

Looks great! I always wonder how people get that cubby/cup holder deal on the bottom of the door so dirty. Mine rarely gets anything in it.
