Which one of these is better for your tires. Will either turn them brown. Which one will sling less.
Thanks

1. I`ve used both and frankly, its hard to tell the difference. Both leave a virtually identical gloss. Vinylex has UV protectants in it and I`m not sure what E1 has included. It may not matter as the Satin Finish Tire Shine has been discontinued.
2. I don`t think either will turn tires brown. I`ve used E1 for over 10 years with no side effects. Just amke sure you clean the tires during the wash.
3. Since both are liquids they can sling if you don`t buff off the excess product after application. But if you do get some on the paint, no worries; they`re both water-based.
Vinylex - very easy to apply with foam applicator, will not sling if left to dry, may not even need buffing, strong UV protectant.
E1 Wet Tire Shine - much more shine than Vinylex, must buff to avoid slinging, try E1 Protectant which is similar to discontinued E1 Satin Finish Tire Shine (it`s still available from CMA) and will give you more natural look.
Both are good products. I find the "Eagle One Protectant" lasts longer on my Eagles than Vinylex. It`s a cream and it goes on thick where vinylex is liquid and more apt to run or sling.
Both provide an Natural looking shine but I find durability better with EO.
This low mile 2010 came to me shortly after the owner purchased it. He hadn`t washed it yet, only the dealer prep (which had done their fair share of damage). He wanted the car perfect, flawless, fully corrected. After discussing exactly what that would entail, he was still up for it. So I got to work. Thankfully since it was so new, there wasn`t a long period of neglect I would have to undo. Just tackle the damage the wash jockeys at the dealership were kind enough to install for me. Most full corrections are 30+ hours, but because this was so new, it only took about 15 hours. Once it was all done, the owner and a friend took it out the next day (I finished at 2:30am) and shot some nice pics which I`ll include at the end.
Process:

-Engine with Megs APC 3:1 and various brushes
-Tires and black trim with Zaino Z16

Car looks great!, noticed you are not using gloss finish on your write ups anymore as you had mentioned you thought it was better than BFWD what happened?.
"Comfortable in my own skin"
Thanks Bob. The Gloss Finish seems to have better durability than the BFWD, but the Blackfire is so much slicker and I like the warmth of it better. I have a few customers who request the Gloss Finish, so I`m happy to do that for them. Actually just finished a Z06 with Gloss Finish and Concorso by request. I do use BFWD for the majority of the cars I do though. I also prefer how quickly the BFWD goes on and off.
