I`m pretty much convinced that the "show car" shine can almost be called elusive in a sense. No product is really going to give your car the look of the cars you see on display in major auto shows or that super glossy shine seen in some ads. This was proven awhile back in another thread. The addition of certain lighting combined with the right angles further enhance the look of those cars. Most of those cars have custom paint jobs too, and who would want to put that kind of money into a daily driver that has to put up with the onslaught of dirt/grime on the roads? Not me for sure...I`m sticking with my Klasse/Blitz combo, to me it`s the next best thing. :xyxthumbs

Joed, are you absolutely sure you prepped the car as well as you knew how? This is where much of the shine stems from. 8 coats of Klasse SG or hell even Turtle Wax should give you a very, very good look. Is the vehicle you`re speaking of red. Are you familiar with the Zaino look. It is EXTREMELY reflective. It almost looks mirror-like. You will lose some of the deep color look that you have but you will gain a reflection from Hell. Not sure if that is what you`re seeking.

Another bruised German ride - My buddy has a fleet of Germans MPV, who is a bit worn off over the years of service, many of such overseas guest & countless VIPs has sat upon. He request me to train his staff on detailing...a date set & i travelled over an hours to meet them.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS : full detail - both interior & exterior

SIZE : 14 seats MPV

ELECTRICITY : the nearest TNB is hundreds of metre away

LOCATIONS : Under some Yum yum tree shade, far away resort

WATER : limited supply, as we only brought 5 gallons = 19 litres

TIME : 0400 hours given ...as they need to pick up the guest

COMPLETION : 0345 hours

the rest is history.....I nearly faint, due to my energy run out- with a minimal breakfast......while detailing this, i only realised that I just "awakening a sleeping giant" - TORA TORA TORA (トラ・トラ・トラ!)

The famous Isoroku Yamamoto`s quote likening the attacks to , Pearl Harbor, as saying after his attack on Pearl Harbor, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.
