Even though you are insured with a very respectable company, please let me know if you need any coaching with your claim. Look at the bright side, you can now get a new detail vehicle. :Gift:
WOW Todd, thank God your OK!! I just called you today not knowing this had happened. Call me! Praying for you.
I am glad you came out in decent shape.

Todd im sorry you wrecked your car !That just sucks! So glad your feeling ok now but please pay attention on how your feeling the next few days . Sometimes injurys dont show up for a few days. I had a similar accident years ago and thought I was ok too and then started having all kinds of troubles for the next several months .
Sorry !Not to worry you .........its just something to pay attention to. I used to work with injured patients mostly from car accidents and unfortunetly its common not to feel the effects for a few days . But the younger and more fit you are the faster you heal so you have that on your side .
Im hoping you are perfectly fine and that could be too ~!
I will miss you TID! R.I.P !
Before it becomes generic by repetition (responding to everybody`s posts) I wanted to say THANK YOU very much for all the warm wishes, thoughts, and prayers. I am SO grateful to be healthy and unscathed, and I fully appreciate how lucky I am.
I received at least 30 phone calls and text messages today (between talking with my insurance and scheduling clients that my schedule has forced me to neglect) I am overwhelmed. Thank you guys (and gal) SO MUCH, it truly means the world to me! :notworthy:
Thank you James. I will check that out tonight when I am done typing that response.
I am glad, lucky, and blessed to be okay. All I could think of last night was going home to my family and I am lucky to have been able to do that!!!
I am in the middle of drafting a letter to Chevrolet to let them know how pleased I am with the job the car did of dispersing the energy of the impact around me and keeping me safe. I don`t know if another HHR is in the works and I may have an aversion to driving another one (bad memories type of thing).
Your wife has the BEST looking HHR I have seen though. Wow that thing is SHARP, and you have the peace of mind of knowing that GM did a hell of a job in designing the crumple zones and keeping the occupants safe. The interior of my car (despite the broken class everywhere) was completely intact. Any passengers in my car would have likely been fine, minus the broken glass. Thanks for the warm wishes.
Thanks Jeff. I feel GREAT and lucky!
Tru dat playa.
Thank you so much Mr. Franco. Minus some annoying cuts there is nothing to heel. I never felt much of an impact, the car did an amazing job!
Thanks Chuck! It wasn`t as scary as I would imagine it would be. I was quite aware the whole time what was happening, did my best to counter steer and apply gas (to transfer the weight to rear tires) and ride out the slide. I was more concerned about settling the car when it caught and would want to snap back the other way. I was full opposite lock, lightly pressing the gas, waiting for it to catch, when I realized I was out of road.
I knew it was going to flip and thought to myself: stay relaxed. I remember hearing that is why drunk drivers survive so many impacts. So when the HHR went airborne I relaxed and kept my eyes open so I could see what was happening.
It is frightening in hindsight to think of what could have happened but dwelling on that will turn me into a paranoid hermit. Instead I will just count my blessings and wrap myself in the love of my family. Thank you for the warm wishes!
Thank you very much!
Thank you Tim. No pills today, none needed. Just a little sore from cuts but otherwise perfect!
Thanks Matt! I agree with 100,000,000 percent. Life is good brother!
]Amen! With out the seatbelt I am convinced I would be dead. It, along with Chevy`s engineering, and the Grace of God saved my life.
Nah, too honest to exaggerate. I am fine and with my family, and that means more than any pseudo-lawsuit could. But I agree, the mattress owner is liable (and will never be found). Thanks for the warm words!
Probably not an HHR, even though I am overwhelmed by the job it did. I am looking at either a Volvo V50 or an Audi A3, although full sized trucks sound good as well. I am open to any suggestions!
Thank you Eric for the kind words. We will talk soon buddy, you rock!
I feel very fortunate! Thanks Paul!
I am SO GLAD that your father is okay. It only takes 1 second... Thank you for the kind words Chad!
Thanks Kody! Feel very good!
Thanks Adam, great talking today! Give me a shout tomorrow!
Thanks Richard. If anything I think the Chevy did an awesome job. I hope you and your wife had a safe trip back, it was pleasure to meet the both of you!!!
Thanks IMO!
Thanks Pat. I feel great buddy, we have to catch up soon!
Absolutely. Thanks for the kind words Dave, I cannot remember a time when it nicer to come home. With every lemon comes lemonade!
I`m not going anywhere! My wife isn`t that luck . Thanks for the warm words!
Number 34 IMO. My back is still a little tender, but all things considered, great. I may still go to the doc tomorrow after I get a rental just to double check, but could not image it being better all things considered.
Thanks for your support David. I feel SO luck and grateful, it really is humbling.
Thanks Eddy. I got about 20 phone calls to make tomorrow, you are at the top of the list.
Thanks CEE DOG! Today is the best I felt in years, to be honest, and I am grateful for it!
Thanks Jason. Give me a call sometime soon!
If I can get a rental tomorrow then I will check up with a doctor. I didn`t feel any impact and I was quite aware during the experience, but you are right. You just never know! Thanks for the warm words.
Maestro Todd Im totally shocked how life can turn around so quick. I would never imagine your trip was going to have this sad episode. I just want to join the rest by saying we are glad you are out of this situation the best way possible. Alive and OK. Now its a matter to take care. As always wish you the well.........
wow dude... i haven`t been on in a while and i get on a see this... glad you`re ok todd and rest easy and be thankful... a full size something is in the works i`m sure...
Very glad to hear you`re ok, the HHR on the other hand, she will be missed.
Get well soon.
Your such a show off (J/K) :-B
Todd, I`m glad you made it thru that one virtually unscaved. Looks like someone may be wanting to keep you around for a greater purpose :-?
