Well that does not look that bad at all. It keeps coming off because it`s single stage paint with no clearcoat. A good polish job and sealant should do the trick.

But since it`s a single stage paint when the sealant wears off the color of the basecoat will start coming off on your towels/applicators again.

nicksr, you are correct. the pc7424 and 7336 are exactly the same except for the pad that comes with the unit, which you`ll probably never use anyway. i`ve got one of each model - they`re identical! bought the 7424 2yrs. ago for $150 - bought the 7336 3months ago for $109 from Lowe`s. :up

    Dodge Charger - waterspot hell

The sprinklers at this client`s home have super hard water, recycled water. After some months of being pelted by the sprinklers. He asked me to come out and try to get them off the Charger. Usually water spots don`t pose too much of a problem, but these were extremely difficult to remove. They required a 2 step correction and I only had time for 1 step. So I had to get creative to remove the majority of them. Didn`t have time for the glass or a few other things, like dressing the inner wheel wells. Anyway here`s the pics...

    Thanks!

It was my first time finishing with 105, and I`m suprised at how well it finished out. Obviously it could have looked a lot shinier with a lighter polish, but I needed the cutting power. The spots laughed at my rotary/wool/m105....just baffled me. But it responded better with the PC. Finished it up with OCW for the sake of time. I`m revisiting it later this month to apply some Zaino, per client`s request. Should be good fun as I have several clients in his area and use his house as a base of operations for a few days. He`s a long time friend so it works out pretty cool.
