Hi All,

Just finished with tha AIO/SG treatment on the M, and the car looks terrific! The finish has never looked this good. You can see a few more pics that I took about an hour ago at the link.

Great shine, is the car an E28?

Paintwork would be better if you removed some the plant roots from the hood though

Hi Todd,

It`s a 1988. The paint is original, except for the hood. A bonehead mechanic shut the hood with a wrench on top of the engine a few years back and mucked it up.

Hi Steven,

Thanks! Yep, the car is an E28. This is the last year of the E28 body style, and is still my favorite body of modern BMWs. The proportions are just right to my eye.

As an ex E28 owner, I agree with you on the proportions of the car. I dont know if the E28 is considered a `classic`, but it should be. A very distinguished car which to my eyes has not dated.
