The owner did it himself. He had the car parked in his driveway and he was painting a white metal table and chairs in his garage with rattle cans!!!! (I guess he wasn`t thinking too clearly that day!)

Nice job once again William! Beautiful piece of GM history and I love the 2 tone.

Looks like good ole 205 did the trick. 50/50`s look awesome.

I do the same thing with my 105/205 bottles i.e. Sharpie the numbers on the TOP of the bottle! The bottles are identical and I`d hate to grab 105 when I meant to grab 205.

    Hey Bill,

That is some impressive work my friend. The difference in clarity was amazing after the correction.

The car had such a nice shine to it, I was able to see that you have lost a lot of weight in the reflections.

    Greatr job.

:thumbup:76 pounds. And I`m planning to maintain this diet as a lifestyle change. Not going back to my old ways... too much of a health risk.

Besides, nothing tastes as good as being thin feels. :Innocent:

Sweet ride & great work on removing the overspray, Bill.

 I`m in the same boat as your customer there; I`ve painted my furniture white, around 20-25feet away from my car thinking it`s not gonna land on my car. End up with horrible tiny spots of paint from the spray gun. :banghead::banghead: Need to clay and repolish the whole car.
    Still learning....

Yeah, the problem with spray can paint is that it`s enamel and it doesn`t dry real fast. Especially in humid air, so it will carry for 40-50 feet in a breeze before it dries!

Not to worry... it comes off pretty easily.

I just finished up a `36 Ford and I must say those old car are a LOT of work! Had a few areas that needed to be hand polished!

You don`t know how BIG those cars are until you start washing them!!!! HUGE! And you`re right; ; Many small areas that needed to be hand polished because of the tight spaces that the polisher just wouldn`t fit into. Sharp curves, etc.

is this a detailing forum because you missed a whole heaping of spots. the front grill looks like you breezed over it with a water mitt cause i can still see dirt in it and you obviously didn`t wash the dust out of the cracks. you seem like a nice guy but you not a very good detailer
