Went to macy`s last night but they closed at 8 p.m. In the middle of Boston, they are closing at 8, how stupid is that.

Oh well, I am going to go tonight, after work to get some towels.

The fourms slow, just thought I would post this for the heck of it.

If you are going to buy more that one or two towels, I would suggest that you consider buying irregulars from: http://www.fieldcrestoutlet.com/index.html

The irregulars have steep price discounts. Now, on top of that, Fieldcrest appears to be offering an <em class=`bbc`>additional[/i] discount of about 20%.

I would go for the Charisma SELECT. $12.99 for an oversized bath towel. If you buy four, you get $10 off. This towel is undiscovered on this forum, so I have been trying it for a few weeks and it is the best cotton towel I have ever used . . . and I have Royal Velvets and the regular Charismas.

If I didn`t have so many damn towels, I`d probably consider trying the Charisma Select. They do sound quite interesting. Laters.

Hi Don. Nice to hear from you. Yes, the problem is, just when we get adaquate quantities of materials, something better comes along! Well, its just part and parcel of progress.

I am running a little experiment right now: RV, Charismas, Charisma Selects, Platinum (Bloomingdale`s $40 towel!!), and Macy`s private label towel (another $40 towel!). Unfortunately, and not surprizingly, the real expensive towels are looking good. I picked up the Platinum`s on sale at Bloomies, but they were still $17, and Bloomies only has them on sale four times a year.

Hey Darbh, I`m kind of curious as to how you`re going to rate those towels in say a month from now. I`ll ask for your opinions on those high end towels then. Laters.

    2007 Aprilia Tuono

My bike came back from it`s spring service with lots of mechanic hand prints, smudges, dust, etc... (I could not capture them on camera so these are all after the clean up)

I`m not a big believer in hosing down a bike with water unless it`s really dirty so she got more of a sponge bath.

Polished up the the tank, tail piece, and front fender with M205 on a white LC pad.

Finished with a few coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond.

I think she cleaned up quite well.

    Looks great!

Also looks like bike weather has arrived wherever you are - love the flowering tree in the yard. Still a couple weeks behind for us in Denver.

    Regards,
