`67 Big Block Vette... Red/Black Stinger...

I had a beautiful `67 Vette Roadster today... 427/435, 4-spd... just a gorgeous car to work on! All numbers matching, 100% correct car, of course!

    A Magnificent Specimen!

    Paint correction and interior wipedown...

The paint had some swirls, and the interior was nearly perfect. All I had to do to the inteior was apply some leather conditioner.

    Process:

    Car was already clean
    Meg`s Claybar
    M105/PCXP/LC Orange/KBM
    M205/PCXP/LC White
    Z5P/PCXP/3M Black Waffle Pad
    Z8 Final Wipedown
    Interior wipedown with Z10

That is a pretty, pretty car. Looks like you did a great job too. Great Black/Red contrast on the scoop.

After using the PC 7424XP for a second time, full paint correction, I must say it was money well spent! No vibration issues, comfortable to use and hold, but mostly more power.

The biggest thing is that it doesn`t bog down under heavy pressure. I`m convinced that I could stall the machine if I wanted to, but it just has so much more torque than the old machine.

    Excellent choice for me!

Bill - in pic # 5 are you allowing the power cord to contact the customers car? I always heard that you should drap the cord over the shoulder so as not to rub the paintwork.

BTW - very nice job, old man!

Yeah, it`s hard to teach an old dog new tricks. I do it when I remember to do it, but I don`t always remember! I`ll work on that!

    Another beautiful job Bill !!
Glad to hear the PCXP works well - I know the older model does vibrate alot and after awhile, its annoying. I have the Flex, so I just use the PC for close up stuff with smaller pads, wheels, etc., and the Flex knocks out the big panels just great.
You are sure getting lots of bizz, that is really good ! I am just about to pull the trigger on a business too, just have to swallow the thought of the $1M Liability Policy, and I will be good to go.
Shoot I dont even have the requisite nice mega-pixel camera you guys all have, so I am way behind the curve - BUT I just took delivery of a really nice Mytee HP60 Spyder Extractor - 100psi, 137" water lift, 1200w heater, 6 gal tanks!!! My inside carpeting never looked better !!

I have one of those. Even though I only do 4 or 5 cars per month, you never know what might happen.

I`d like to have one of those. I still do it the old-fashioned way... on my knees with a scrub brush, can of carpet foam and a wet towel!
