    1973 Ford Maverick, 04 Silverado, 08 Sentra

So I been really getting into detailing cars this past few months, and thought i would show some of what I`ve done. I`m a beginner be easy please! haha

Here is the 08 Sentra (I now realize i didn`t take any pictures )
This was right as I was finished and it turned dark on me

This was just done yesterday Washed with Armor All Wash and Wax soap 2 bucket system and Meg. Ultimate Quick Detailer

My Second Car 1974 Ford Maverick this was my Dad`s DD for about 6 years,so it really never saw much attention other than washes and dusting it so the paint was really in need so help lol
BEFORE (Used Mothers Clay Bar Kit, then Meg. Liquid Crystal Carnauba Wax)

    AFTER

and then my 2004 Chevy Silverado (Same stuff used Mothers then Meg.) ((No Before))

Playing with a little camera feature on my phone lol

Ha ha, `73 Maverick, that thing looks great, I guess only in the west...here in the salt belt all of those rusted into oblivion in the 80`s...when I saw the title I had to click because I couldn`t even remember what a Maverick looked like!

I sure remember the Mavericks in that period. They were not that bad to drive as long as you did not have the small engine.

Oh yeah, Pintos, Mavericks, good times...now all you need is Chevette, a Gremlin, and we`ll be in nostalgia heaven!

I`m trying to think what the Chrysler poop-box would have been in the mid-70`s...before the Omni/Horizon...

After a bit of research...I guess Chrysler had farmed out their poop-box class cars to Mitsu in the 70`s in the form of the Colt...

    Yes.

It was the Dodge Colt (sold it until mid-80`s) and there was also the Dodge D50 (small pick up truck).

Re: 1973 Ford Maverick, 04 Silverado, 08 Sentra

Was it a variant of the Colt that had that "twin stick" shifter in about 1978? I remember really wanting a Plymouth Sapporo for a while back `80-ish...I can`t remember if that was before or after I fell in love with the `79 Mustang Indy Pace Car Replica which became the `80 Cobra...with what was it, a 2.4l 4-cyl turbo? That was back when a 2.4l 4-cyl turbo put out a whopping...140 hp if you hit the right spot on the curve, along with enough torque to unscrew a peanut butter jar and did I mention plenty of turbo lag? Anyway, I think the Sapporo lust came after that, but was somewhere eclipsed by the allure of American Iron...perhaps something like a GM X-body hatchback with an "HO" engine...now we`re talking!!

Huh? What? What time is it? I must have been daydreaming back to the glory days...

The 73 Maverick is for sale as of...2 hours ago lol Decided its time to part ways and for her to go on to someone who has the time to fully restore her as I wanted to.
