It may have taken a while, but the results are very good. Nice reflection shot!

That`s quite the lengthy detail Trevor Did you take any breaks as you went?

Looks sharp, nice work as usual

yes i work at a dealer for the time being. I had alot of interuptions during the proccess. Alot of phone calls and side jobs throughout the day. I stayed after 5pm to finish the truck. From 5 to 8 I got quite a bit accomplished.

The truck was covered in swirls and light scratches, I tried a light compound first but had no positive results. So then I went on to masking off all textured plastics, trim, mirrors, door handles. During that step I had alot of interuptions which became very frustrating as I was very eager to work on the truck.

After 5pm, within that 3 hour span I finished compounding the driver side of the truck, then polished the paint then followed up with the wax. after wax removal i moved on to cleaning up excess compound and started dressing.

Was a very long day but I was quite happy with the results when i pulled it out of the garage.

    Thanks for looking

    Dave.
Yes it is chrome plated plastic and can scratch very easily. I use a non-abrasive paint polish on the chrome plated plastic pieces.

How do you like the Farécla compounds? Are you using them dry or with water?

btw, nice job on that truck.
