    Looks great; love the colour.

How do you like the Olds vs. Acura? Why was your choice not to stick with Acura?

Re: Finally got to detail my new old car :)

GSR - wassup!! heh - I still have the TL - lease is up in August. I got the olds becuase it was a sweet deal - only 28800 miles - and babied. I paid cash for it so I won`t have a car payment for a while. Both are great cars - and I was spoiled by the TL in the Luxo dept. Figured I could not get closer to the luxo level for 12K than the Aurora. That and they are not that common..People compliment me on the car and ask what kind it when they don`t see the back.

The difference between the two - the TL drives like it is a much smaller car, the Aurora drives like it is bigger than it is. The Aurora is more of a cruiser than an off the line burner. Love the Northstar V-8 in it...

That and my family would disown me if I got another foriegn car (dad and bro are GM workers).

Nice! I`ve worked on several Auroras of that body style... I can definitely say I prefer the Northstar units to the 3.5L V6 ones. You got yourself one sweet ride there!!

One word of caution though -- every single `01+ Aurora or Pontiac Bonneville (both built at the same plant) I have seen has had a strange problem with premature rust forming at the front edge of the hood, right over the passenger headlight. You`ll start to see the paint bubbling up on both sides (top and bottom) of the hood, which is rust forming underneath. From what I hear it`s a problem with the substrate dip process at the factory. Either way you`ll want to keep an eye out for it.
