    2004 H2 Hummer Limo detail - no 56k

Just another installment of the huge fleet of vehicles I get to take care of these days. I didnt take any before pictures because the shop isnt really condusive to good lighting plus I was working in the body shop were some items were being fixed (same one I got this big connection from) so I didnt want to really get in the way so much or to waste time. Anyway if you remember the cadillac and mercedes details I did, this paint was just as bad if not worse. I brought it back to about 95% with only some deeper RIDS remaining.

    Process:
    -S+W
-Hi Temp Extreme Cut leveler & Optimum polish - 2 beads each via LC 7.5" orange light cut pad @1500
-Optimum polish via black LC finishing pad @1200 rpm @ OP with pc @6 on tight areas.
    -OCW x 2

    NL on tires.

I am going back tommarow to finish up the little details like trim and such, I just gave it a quick wipedown prior to the pics. I dont wanna here about the wheel wells!! they will be done tommarow.

It took about 11 hours. Yes doing huge vehicles like this help me learn better and faster ways of working and help me perfect my skills. Its alot of hard work but its great to see the end product.

Tommarow I start an excursion limo, im not to thrilled as I will have to put in a very long day tommarow and then also go back during the week and work...

    hey Greg,

Are you using a orange pad and hi cut leveler instead of wool and a less abrasive polish?

I`m also curious about this greg.

The limo looks great. Your building yourself a good reputaion that will take you far in the detailing biz in your area.

I`ve seen the other ones and the paint is really F`d up on them. I would be using a wool pad, at least on the cutting due to the size of them. Would make the first step ALOT quciker. But of course theres nothing wrong with using a foam pad, its all prefrence. And i see you know what your doin so keep it up, i`m sure your building yourself a good reputaion that will take you far in the detailing biz in your area.
