Ford Taurus Detail - no 56k

Hello Everyone. Another beutifal day in MN for detailing. This car belongs to my gf`s mom. It had to be cleaned for my gf`s drivers test tommarow. The inside was just mainly dusty and I forgot to get pics. I will get some tonight If i am out at her house. I will post my interior regimen and door jamb regimen when i get the pics. So for now I just have engine and exterior.

    Engine

    HT APC 10:1 heavily sprayed
megs versa angle brush w/ ht bubbling suds wash to aggitate.
    Spray off with hose
    Idle for 10 minutes
    Dress with #40
Gloss up paint with APC 20:1 followed by spray and gloss

    BEFORE

    AFTER

    Exterior

    Bug Squash 3:1 on areas
    HT bubbling suds wash
    PB Clay to remove tar
Pinnacle Advanced Swirl Remover via PC/ LC 6" orange cutting / speed 6
Meguiars #21 by hand / allowed to haze 30 minutes
Spray and Gloss upon drop off

    questions/comments?

All my images are 650x488 but when i upload them they all look different sizes. Why is this? They are hosted on photobucket.

Sweet, but I think you need a pressure washer. It would save you so much time.

HAHA you dont even know how long I spent on it haha. But yes i am looking into a pressure washer for the winter months. I will use it as a pre rinse and for wheels and wheel wells. IMHO its hard to beat a hand wash. Thanks for the comments guys.

Ya she passed. I think it was because of perfection on every aspect of the car. haha. She is a good driver she doesnt need a freshly detailed car to pass her, but im sure it didnt hurt haha.

Looks great Greg. I`m also thinking of a pressure washer for pre wash, wheel wells and the occasional dirt mobile. Soon as someone sells one in a yard sale that I go to for $20 or under I`ll have one

Nice job on the car and glad that she passed..........I have a pressure washer but I don`t use it on all jobs.......However on those dirt bombs and even wheel wells I find nothing better.........you can get one from Karcher (sp) for about 100 bucks its what I have.....Saves time and dose a much better job when its needed.

My mom would have a cow if i made hers look like that:

But we don`t care about that car anyways, so i`ll just wash it. We`ve never waxed it. It`s an `00 with 75k. :rolling
I do mobile detailing for friends and family. Might not be the absolute best, but I do it for free.
