    GMC 1500 Detail - No 56k

Hello everyone!! beautifal day for detailing. I had to were paints even! Well started at 730 and rushingly finished up at 330 becuase I had to leave town to babysit my cousins with my girlfreind. This vehicle was very very swirled up and It was hard not to grab the rotary but I stuck with the pc all day. I did use the rotary to clean my pad when it gunked up though. I put the pad on and then turn on the rotary and used a tooth brush to remove the buildup. Nothing like a $200 pad cleaner haha. Todays goal for the detail was to get a little flake pop. I left out some products that I often use and tried some new ones in hope of new results. ok enough talking. Here is the detail.

    Engine

-HT APC 10:1 heavily soaked all over engine.
-Agitate with megs versa angle brush and HT bubbling suds wash
    -spray off.
    -Run engine for 10 minutes
-I re-cleaned many areas on the engine as it was very bad.
-#40 on all vinyl and rubber
-APC and Spray and gloss on all painted areas

    Interior

Farm Vehicle. Nuff said. Sorry no before as I was trying to keep myself in the zone.

    -Vaccum
-APC 20:1 on all vinyl and rubber to remove heavy dust and dirt
-APC 20:1, Folex, and oxi on all carpets
    -Extracted with shop vac
-#40 on all vinyl and rubber including door seals
-APC on jambs followed by OCW

    Exterior

-HT bubbling suds wash (very slick)
    -PB Clay
-HT Med Cut via LC VC orange pad (speed 5)
-Pinnacle ASR on hood and roof via LC VC orange pad (speed 5) on hood and roof only
-NXT paste (hard to remove IMHO)

    -#40 on tires,trim,wheels, and bed (I think I used about 20 oz`s of #40)
    -mothers metal on all metals
-50/50 vineager-water followed by IG on all windows
    -PB wheel Sealant on wheels

    Before

    After:

    Flake:

If anyone is wondering the jeep in the background wears DP surface sheild and NXT.

Truck came out nice Greg. I`m sure the owner was very happy. I really need to get me some HT APC. Really excited to try it. How would you compare the HT Med. Cut to say SSR2.5?

HT med cut is a chemical abrasive and It kind of depends on what bad you use. I would say abrasiveness would be about ssr2? I wouldnt really reccomend it. Im just trying to kill of some bottles of polish that I never use.

Engines are done in the driveway and then they are dressed and glossed up the 2 car stall in my garage. All other work is done inside under my large lights in the garage exluding washing and claying.

    Nice work Greg.

I am thoroughly enjoying reading all the products you use. I might have to give #40 a shot on of these days .

The blue really looks great .
