    My VM&16 combo

It finally stopped raining long enough to do my quike detail tell me what you think. I used my sonus du wonder polishing pad to apply the VM and a viking foam pad for the 16. Also I picked up a WW from wally world (micro tech) and now I`m proud to say I have retired my absorber the WW dried my stang A LOT faster. This is almost 11yrd paint (95 gt) that does have "marring" until I can afford a buffer and is not in the best condition. I`m very happy with the result thus far.

Do you mean the large blue plush MF drying towel Walmart sells? I didn`t know Walmart sold waffle weaves now.

Correct it`s made by Microtec I`ve heard it was good so I tried it and was very impressed with how plush it was and how well it absorbed. Best of all it only cost 6 and change. Thanks for the positve response guy it means I`m getting better, i can`t want till I save enough for a buffer :dancin

If you`re talking about the Microtex big blue drying towel, I don`t believe it`s a waffle weave. That is, if we`re talking about the same towel and Wal-Mart hasn`t gotten anything new in..... I have a couple of those towels and they`re a regular plush MF towel.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Just so you know that towel (if were talking about the plush blue one Walmart sells) is not a waffle weave. It`s a regular MF towel but very plush and big. When you said it was a waffle weave I was shocked because the only waffle weaves I have seen in stores is the New Meguiars drying towel.

Woops yeah thats the one (big blue drying towel), I was thinking of Megs "water magnet" because that`s what I was their looking for. My wally world doesn`t carry much of any Megs stuff for some reason. Sorry for the mix up..
