    saab story pics!

buddy of mine got himself a saab. well his dad did. and hes had it for about 2 months now and hes been washing it. tells me he uses zip wax and uses a rag to clean it.

but luckily hes only washed it 3 times since he got it. had light marring all over the place, but the paint still looked new form afar.

    process was

nxt bath with sg on wheels and tires.

    vrt on trim.

megs endurance high gloss on the tires (by the way i was real surprised at how good it dressing looks when buffed off. too bad its not waterbased so im not letting it touch my car`s tires. i prefer easy to clean dressings).

clay, #80, and LIQUID SOUVERAN on paint

    paint looked brand new!!!

and by the way. i did it all for free! do u guys ever do free details? and if so, to who?

That car looks awesome. Great job on the detail.

You missed a spot on the wheel though. Sorry, but I couldn`t overlook it.

Simmer down. I was only kidding. I`m sure that he is very appreciative of the kind gesture and didn`t notice the only small spot you missed. I`ve seen the work you do and am impressed every time.

Nice work man, car looks brand new! I do freebies for any of my buddies who are willing to throw in the time it takes with me and bring a few beers along. To get a friend ready for Carslile I spent about 20 hours with him prepping the car, he literally slept in his garage for the whole week customizing a fiberglass dash, console, and speakerbox for the comp. I also do freebies to the parents, grandparents, and the girlfriend and her mom.

Car looks wonderful; I imagine he was happy when you were finished! Free details; well I haven`t charged anyone yet but don`t do it for a living. So far the family has been the only one to benefit from my hobby. Thinking about getting into it as a side business eventually.

    Re: saab story pics!

nope. no engine shots. the car wasnt hard to work with. like i said. its only 2 months old. so i was just happy to get it looking crisp again.

i dont really look at it as a business. i mean, i dont promote or anything, but i always have a car lined up for the weekend. mainly people who i end up meeting and tell about wha i do, or just family or friends.

what makes it almost a pain to work is the humidity and the sun here in s.florida. didnt get to use my garage so i had to pop up the canopy. but even then it was a pain sicne its only a 10x10. after about an hour i was drenched and ready to quit.
