    O Dang!

First time waxing my car, used mother`s cleaning wax, then mother`s pure caranuba wax. I didn`t use a glaze, could it make look "wetter"?

    Re: O Dang!

I`m not sure if the glaze in between the two wax products is compatible or if the final wax would just dissolve the glaze. One way to maximize depth is to try a "spit shine" technique involving QD or water and lots of time and patience. I`m not sure if the pure Mother`s wax can be spit shined or not. It all depends on the type of/amount of solvent in the wax: too much/too harsh will just dissolve the spit shined layers.

I spit shine with Souveran. P21s/S100 ought to work too.
