Has anyone tried these, I am always looking for new or improved pads
Has anyone tried these, I am always looking for new or improved pads
Nope, but I heard they work very good. Open cell design allows them to run cooler than other MF pads.
I`ve tried the polishing pads on one car so far....still waiting for the cutting pads to come out. They worked well so far and did seem to run cooler. However, I`m curious to see how they hold up in the long run...
I bought a few and l love them. I have used them with hyper polish, Poli seal and 205. They cut well and finish super nice. 2 have had 7 cleanings and still look and feel like brand new. So to say the least, I am impressed and will be buying more.
Great more stuff to try. I need to retire some pads and stock up on some new ones.
When will there be a chart comparing all the pads like the polish charts?
Randy
I have a few in transit, should be here Wednesday.

Randy, it would be hard to make a general chart showing the different effect of the aggressiveness with microfiber because microfiber (in theory) is going to react far differently when used with a DA vs. a rotary polisher where as most foam pads are going to stay in the same position.
They are on my Christmas list.
I wonder if someone could do a side by side panel with Optimum mf and Optimum polish compared against foam pad and Optimum polish with technique (less passes with one, etc) on heavily swirled paint so we can see correction (leave some swirls behind) and marring view.

How do the Optimum pads compare to Meguiars microfiber pads?
I messed with the Optimum MF pads at SEMA and was pretty impressed. I just ordered a set and just got em. I can`t wait to give them a try.
