Re: Clean & Extend Life of Detailing Clay w/Blackfire

I have this but havent tried it yet, also have an extra if you are looking to trade Ill trade of something interest you have extra of. I bought it because clay is pretty expensive, and if I can get a few more cars out of 1 bar thats $$ in my pocket.

Of course, something that is embedded in the clay will have to be picked out - thats why you look at the clay after you clean it, to make sure its free of anything embedded.

I guess I`d still be worried about the contaminants that come to the surface while your in the process of playing. There are a few variables with this one, but it could be a way to save money depending on how much you spend on the spray.

Re: Clean & Extend Life of Detailing Clay w/Blackfire

I received this product from Proper Auto Care and did a review then. It seemed to work as advertised. This seems to be one product that people either like the concept or do not like the concept.

It does take a little time to clean clay so an inconvenience to those who already want to reduce clean up activities (rinsing out mitts, washing towels, cleaning out pads, etc).

Yes heavy contaminates can get pushed into the clay and become trapped into it. Over time these are going to add up to the point that the clay will no longer be usable. The goal with this product (which it does extremely well) is to extend the life of the clay.

Just to remind everyone, this is one of many Blackfire products that is marked down at least 25% right now. Now is the time to stock up and save.
