    Florida "S Corporation" Registration

I am seriously looking into operating my own mobile detailing business, and had a couple questions about the legal side of it. I understand that I need to register a name for my business and get a business license, but is there anything else that is required? I was looking up Florida small business registration, andI came across the Florida "S Corporation" and was wondering if that is what I need, or if it missing anything. Here is a link -

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My suggestion would be to talk to a reputable CPA/accountant in your area, as they most likely will be knowledgeable regarding the business requirements in your area and can help you get set up on the business/legal side.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.

Cool Re: Florida "S Corporation" Registration

Try looking into a "LLC CORP" it may be more user friendly and work with what you are doing better...

Be aware that most cities and locals require a business to register when revenues exceed $250 in that specific location.

With so many suburbs here, a mobile wash will pay thousands of dollars in registration fees before earning a dollar.

Do a thorough examination of the requirements.

My advice: go the LLC route.

Set up your business on QuickBooks. I do an average of one vehicle per week for pay. The Intuit QuickBooks "Simple Start" edition is perfect for me... and inexpensive. Find a CPA before tax season. (S)he can get you started on the right foot.

QuickBooks also puts out a New Business Starter Kit program that`s worth a look.

Best of luck with your business!
