I think the market here can handle more than I`m charging, especially the clients I have been working for. I don`t want anybody getting used to a great job for a donkeys` wage.

yep that doesn`t seem like much money you are charging there for that amount of work. I bet your customers are really appreciating that price. You are probably getting tips out of their guilt on what you are charging them.

I think one reason it is hard to get the high dollar is most people do like my daughters husband.
He drives it through the tunnel wash every week or so and twice a year put on something for wal-Mart and trade for a new car every three years.
No clear coat failure the dealer has to do a polish to get it ready for resale.
People like that realize it is not necessary to spend big dollars every 6 months to maintain their car.
If you go in with a pristine car they will offer blue book price for it just like everyone else gets.
What I`m trying to say is if you trade every few years save the money to apply toward the new car.
