I have a full size truck with a utility cap. The bins hold alot of little stuff witch makes alot more room on the floor of the truck.

    Hey Dartmouth!
    I`m snowed in in PEI.
I have a 4.3L Jimmy, and wouldn`t be enough perhaps if your water tank is bigger. But an SUV gives you the advantage of a family/friend vehicle when you aren`t towing.
Also, size: remember that your job is taking care of your own vehicle too. So if you go too big you will lose a lot of start up and business time treating your rig.
But if this is going to be your main job, you may want to get a rig you could put a front plow onto to do some winter work.

What about tacomas? They seem a pretty decent size, avoiding the huge tundra?

Gas is going to become an issue for all of us this year. Definitely something I would take into consideration tugging water around.

Truckers world wide are feeling the pinch.

From a business point of view gas will count against the price you charge significantly reducing your profit margin. So truck payment x gas x the amount of customers x the price you charge leave you with HOW much profit.

Please consider the ancillary expenses associated with a purchase of this magnitude at this time in america.

Another option that I would consider if you are mobile are the Sprint vans by Dodge.. they are really Mercedes vans and if you get the diesel, it may cost a little more in gas but they get really good gas mileage and can hold quite a bit ... I think they are also covered by the lifetime warranty
