    My new detailing truck

Well, I got rid of my Trailblazer SUV. Not my plan, but it`s gone. To replace it, I picked up a 1991 GMC Sonoma Extended Cab(with a chevy grille )
1 owner truck w/less than 100k miles. Has all service records from date of purchase.
    V6 with a 5 spd. trans.
Newer pearl paint (red tint at certain angles), sprayed in bedliner, and came witha soft bed cover, which I took off...
I haven`t had the chance to detail it, but just wash it up and throw a vac on it. Then the kids got in it, bringing in grass....

Anyways, here is the truck, don`t mind it being messy...

Not pulling the trailer with it at the moment. It has a ball on the bumper, but I don`t think it`ll hold. I`m paranoid like that. Instead, I will be getting a hitch on it.
I put most of my stuff in rubber maid tubs and put them in either the bed of the truck or the extended cab part.
Now I won`t have to pull my trailer around town for a wash....
As far as getting vinyl done, I am working on it. I don`t have the cash to pay for some, so I am doing a detail for it.....from my Wifes Uncle. He is the pne that did my trailer....

    Edit.....don`t mind the blurry pics....lol

That inside really looks familiar lol. Seems like you like the rims (i do too) Good luck with it and probably a smart idea to put a hitch on wouldn`t want your trailer flying down the road.

Congrats on the new ride. I don`t know why but It always makes me happy to see ordinary older vehicles like this that have been taken care of and are still nice to drive. Post some more pics once you get a good detail on it.

Love the truck! Super clean. I would rather ride in the that clean truck than a dirty Maybach.

    Really???

Your the first person that I know of that likes red interior. When I used to do a lot of cars for oldsmobile we used to hate doing the red interiors that they had. We called it "coffin colored".

Awesome find, first generation S10 gurus would freak for that thing

That 4.3 can be amazingly quick with just a few small mods, just so you know

It`s a 2.8L not a 4.3L. I`m glad you were able to find such a well taken car of vehicle. How did you find it so quickly?
I can`t find any truck under $5K that isn`t junk and have been looking for months!

    Re: My new detailing truck

    correct. 2.8

I was actually just driving down the road. I passed by a small car lot, that I usually stop in at, to check on some trucks. Everything they have, all the time, is junk, miles over 150k+......older stuff. Well, this truck was at the end, and caught my eye, but did not stop at first because I thought to myself it had high miles and probably a POS.

On my way back through, I had to stop..lol.
Looked at the miles and my eyes got big. I went in and asked to test drive it. Ran like new. Everything worked, A/C bows cold.

Only problem it had, was when you were letting the clutch out to get in first, the pedal would lose pressure and pop into gear, either stalling out, or making you look like you cannot drive a stick... haha

Took it to my buddy at a tranny shop. Told me to buy a slave cylinder and clutch master cylinder. $80 bucks later, couple hours, and a couple beers, all fixed up....

Looks great. I really like the square body S10 pickups. They seem to have more personality than the newer models.
