    mobile detailing guys in here...

What size gallon tanks are yall running? I got a 80 gal plastic tank that can be had for free. Think this is enough? I guess it depends on how many cars a day you do but just kinda curious on what yall have. Thanks

It`s gonna depend on your GPM of your pressure washer.

I have a 110 gallon tank and I can do 6 details with it. My pressure washer only puts out 2 Gallons per minute though.

    I got a 110 or 125, can`t remember.

I can get anywhere from 5-10 washes out of it depending on what the auto is. My pw also puts out like 3.x gallons per minute. Like troy said that has alot to do with how many you can get.

I run a 65 gallon tank. I can do 2-4 details depending on the condition of the car. When I get a new tow rig, I am getting another tank for the bed....

I use a commercial electric pw that is built here locally. (Baldor motor, Comet pump)

1500psi 2gpm. Works just fine for detailing cars and I`ve gotten through plenty of RV`s with it. However if I were doing anymore volume than I am now, I would want a bigger one.

Try working out of the back of a Jeep

I`ve got a trailer, and a 65 gal. tank, but the trailer is so damn big (6X10`) and with all the weight of the water in the tank my Jeep can barely tow it, guess that`s what I get for throwing larger tires on it

I`ve used ther tank before though, when I absolutely had to have my own water supply. Easily did a detail and a couple washes. Don`t know the GPM of my pressure washer though, I`ll have to find that out...
