    Do I Have Everything?

Well I pretty much started detailing on the side and have done 2 cars so far, I had a pick up lined up for this weekend but weather called for rain and we are going to do it latter on next week. Sometimes I look at my products and wonder to myself do I still have everything I need or is there something missing?

Here is what I got so far:

    Car wash soap
    Bug and tar remover
    Clay bar and lube
    Tire gel
    Wheel cleaner
    Glass cleaner
    Polish
    Wax
    Carpet and upolsery cleaner
    Chrome cleaner
    Black chrome cleaner
    Armour All
    Leather cleaner
    Scratch X

    Wash mit
    MF towels
    Good ole home vacuum
    Power washer
Grit guard (need to find a bucket to fit it in)

I also have a PC7424 coming in from Autogeek next week to replace my old buffer with a variety of pads

I pretty much average between 4-5 hours to do a car inside and out. Is this average time to most of you?

I think that you have all that you need to get started but are you using the Armour-all for vinyl dressing?

Its really not the best choice IMO...I would look at 303 or PB Natural look

The thoughts on a vinyl protectant would be mine as well, but....
I have read that the new water based Armorall is a much better product.

Since Canadian Charlie is in Southern Europe, his supply source could be somewhat limited.

CC, I`m sending you a PM with some info you might be interested in.

    As a side note.
You may not have everything yet, but if you hang around here long enough, you eventually will.

I pretty well have to use whats avaliable locally. Good news is that we now get Meguiars but its triple the price you American`s pay for it. I have around 20 bottles of thier products but use them mostly for my own cars, I`ll use some for my customer`s cars along with Armour All, Turtle Wax brand, Simonize.

If I could I`d buy gallon jugs from the States but shipping them over would kill me

    Hi, I would add:
    -6hp+ wet/dry vac
-vinegar (can be cut for cleaning int or window spots)
-0000 Steel Wool (windows to remove bugs, paint overspray, adhesive, etc.)
    -masking tape
    -crevice cleaning tools
-rags you can throw away after the job
    -Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
-deoderizers with enzyme cleaners (or a quat, whatever that is)
-wheel/metal polish & a little cut wheel acid for chrome on older vehicles
-cleaning brushes for wheels, tires, wheel wells
-methyl hyrdate for sap (do you still have trees in Southern Europe?)
