    School buses

Ok, I want to hit up a big daycare around here. Think there is 4 locations here in town. I know for a fact, that one location, has 2 short buses, a van, and 1 or 2 regular size school buses. Maybe a tad shorter, but not much.

    Has anyone done buses before?
I am looking to either just do a simple wash and interior clean (quick go through)
or a wash, interior, and 1 step polish/cleaner wax.....

I need to get more info on the quanity of buses and vans they have, but what would you charge for:

    -Bus
    -Short Bus
    -Van

I was thinking maybe.....85/65/45 for just a simple wash/vac???? BTW, they are white

Any heads up would be appreciated.....

(posted this on another forum as well, and was told to up the prices to 100/70/50,which does sound right. Those would be for a wash and vac, to include tire dressing, windows, interior wipe down...)

like a school bus or a luxury bus... i would charge way more if you were going to wax it... how do you wash the top of a bus... you think they would have a automated bus wash or something...

Ladder or scaffold and a long handled brush

I think your 100/70/50 sounds right on track.

LOL I cannot picture my son`s bus driving up all pretty with dressed tires! lol
Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, "Where have I gone wrong?"
Then a voice says to me, "This is going to take more than one night."

Tex, About a year ago we had a year long contract cleaning the interior of buses for the local transit authority. they had 3 sizes of buses.

    Large: 65.00 Per unit

    medium: 55.00 per unit

    Small 45.00 per unit

we had a crew of 3 we would knock out 6 buses per night 2 of each unit. The bus company supplied all of the Chemicals. The beauty was the were there about 4 hours. They used an automatic wash system to wash the exteriors.

Do you still do them? Or did they go somewhere cheaper? I think your prices were fair. How often did you do this service?

    Re: School buses

Derek, we would go 3 evenings per week. We no longer service the account the transit workers voted a union in and each job in the shop had to to unionized. ( no outside contractors). it sucked loosing that type of income.
