    Re: Pressure washer question

If it pumps from a hose, it will pump a tank.

    Re: Pressure washer question

Unless its a gear driven unit, its gravity fed.

This is how mine is set up. Its gear driven but before it was i had it the same way and it worked fine. Also the bigger the hose leading from the tank to the washer the better. As you can tell on mine i`ve used large brass fittings, pvc pipe, and pool type hose.

    Re: Pressure washer question

Manual said it needed at least 20 psi of water pressure.
Should I mount the tank higher in his truck thant the washer?

    Re: Pressure washer question

    Yes,pull from a tank
    Yes,raise the tank slightly.
Use the shortest length of hose from tank to machine as possible.

As TrueDetailer stated us eteh largets diameter hose from tank to machine as possible.

The pump on that machine is not designed to withstand running idle for more that a couple minutes.Nor is it manufactured to accept an unloader so you can make it dump back to the tank.Always be mindful of how long you have left the machine running without pulling the trigger.
