Hiding swirls for customer that wants simple "Wash and Wax"

One of my mother`s co-workers wants his car done, but only wants a simple wash and wax. I was thinking of using PWC (by hand) then EX (by hand) for a nice shine (and tho hide some of the swirls).

Can anyone recommend other products or processes that hide swirls well and provide a nice shine? I saw that some people recommend Cherry Wet Wax, NXT Wax, Megs #66...just looking for other opinions. Thanx.

This has been posted many many times before (hint search). The PwC and EX will work as will Megs #66, PwC alone, and the others that you mentioned. Other than that there doesn`t seem to be any `good` one steppers IMO.

Why hide them? Upsell a complete polish. I wouldn`t hide any of them. Wax the car and show him how the swirls detract from the beauty of his paint. Sell that polish job.

I can`t even argue with you...you`re right. I should have had the upsell in mind from the beginning.

But if he just wants to pay for me to hide them, then who am I to tell him otherwise.

20% of my business is Wash & Wax. They want a shiny car with protection. On dark cars, even the best waxes and polishes and glazes won`t completely hide swirls.

but it could be done by hand???? applying and removing?? i have the same problem, i have MEGs 21 applied all ready, and also have megs gold class liquid but no machine. I`m thinking of topping the megs 21 with the G.C.L. the hood only because thats where the minor swirls really show up
