i also need a good quality generator and pressure washer
i have seen kits like this with watertank, pressure washer, and generator all mounted to a sub frame that fit in the bed of a truck this would be ideal

I purchased my tank at a local farm supply co. I got my generator from a private party and bought my pw from Home depot. If you want to purchase one of the slide units with everything included check out mobileworks.com, detailking.com

If you have a tractor supply close by check out their tanks. Their prices are much better than some of the other places. They have several diffrent sizes.

I agree. I picked my 65 gallon tank up for a little under $135.
Picked up my pressure washer from Big Lots, and will be picking up a new generator from Pep Boys. They have one for $249. Go to their website and click on specials. Most of the time, it is on sale.

I have the same generator you are referring too. You`re talking about the yellow one (Pro Force) right?

Excellent generator! Starts quickly, isn`t loud, and you can`t beat that price!

    Re: Water Tanks

I bought my water tank (100 gal) from Northern Tools for approximately $150.00. I bought my generator and pressure washer`s from Lowe`s. I use the gas powered pw for houses and driveways etc. I only use the 1600 psi electric pressure washer on vehicles because I see no need to use anything more powerful on vehicles. I can wash approximately 12 vehicles with about 85 gallons of water, about 7 gal per vehicle. As far as buffers are concerned, I use a Cyclo Polisher and and Makita Rotary. Good luck!

Not sure where you live, but if there is a Rural King near by, you might want to check them out. They have a 110 gallon tank for $120. It would be nice not to pay for shipping on such a large item.

Here is the link. The tank shown is not the exact one. The one at the store had a larger opening in the top and had a 2 lips for straps to tie it down.

If you have a photo printing shop near you ,they should have 15 gal. barrels that there supplies came in. I bought 6 of then at $2.00 each I used pvc pipe to hook them togather. That give me 90 gals. total
The Tractor place wanted almost $300.00 for a 100 gal. tank. The barrels work like a baffle so the water doesn`t splach around.
I could email you a picture if you like.
I used olny 1/3 of the water for a car.

    Re: Water Tanks

Northern tool has 50 gallon square end tanks for $119. I`m upgrading to one of those this weekend. Currently I carry less water than that in a combination of 27gal tank and some smaller ones. 5-7gal per car is an average but it varies a lot. I drained a full tank on a jetta a few days ago lol. Fortunately I live next to where I do work and many customers that I`ve done for up to 15 years let me fill whenever I wish. Years ago when I had a full size truck with 8 foot bed, I used 2 55gallon drums. $10 each at a GIJoe surplus store.
