    Re: auto detail profession

Just another piece of advice here. I am not in the detailing business, but I am in business for myself and have been for the past 15 years.
One of the biggest things that you can do for yourself is to have a solid business plan, when I started I just jumped in feet first with no plan at all, in time that came to bite me in the behind.

My business started to grow at a substantial rate, more than I had ever expected. I never had made any plans for this, I found myself working so much to cover the extra business that I did not have time to gather other assets which would keep things moving in a forward direction. I missed a few great opportunities because of this and it really made things hard.
Luckily I saw what I was doing early and was able to address the problem, but if I would have had some kind of plan ahead of time, like a list of "what if`s" I would have been ahead of the game.

So get your game plan down before you jump in, it may save you some trouble down the road.

If it were me, and/or I was you, the fact that the wash only took 5 minutes -- would be printed big, bold, and dominate my flyer/brochure!!

And I`d definitely make sure it never got caught on film so no one could see the secret of how to do it in 5 minutes.
I still don`t believe in grit guards.
